Lauren McCurdy is a mom of five, Crestwood School Board President, and lifelong resident of our region. She's living the same struggles as too many local families: gas prices draining bank accounts, not being able to afford new clothes for her kids, and sports and travel teams that are too expensive for a working family. Politics are turning their backs on families like hers while prices skyrocket, so she's running for State Representative for the 119th District.
"I am running because the people of the 119th District deserve a representative who shows up, listens, and follows through,” McCurdy said. “For years, I have worked on behalf of students, families, and taxpayers in my community. I have seen how decisions made in Harrisburg affect our schools, our property taxes, and our economic stability. We need representation that understands those realities and is focused on delivering results."

Priorities
★ Stop data centers and public utility companies from jacking up our energy bills and make sure they pay their fair share
★ Lower property taxes by fully funding public schools so communities don't have to raise taxes to fill the gap.
★ Make healthcare more affordable by lowering prescription drug prices and relieving medical debt.
★ Protect senior citizens' hard-earned dollars from scam and fraud.
